Name of post:- Opthalmic Assistant
Salary:- 5200 – 20200 grade pay – 2800 level – 5
Distribution of post:- Total – 311. General – 94, EWS – 24, Other – 118, WFF – 4, Physically Handicapped – 9, For females – 75.
Name of the post:- Fisheries Development officer.
Salary:- Level – 6.
Distribution of post:- Total – 284, General – 90, EWS – 21, Other – 101, WFF – 4, Physically Handicapped – 9, For females – 72.
Qualification Required for different post:-
1 Fisheries Development Officer:- One year diploma of B.sc in industrial fish and fisheries or B.sc in aquaculture or one year diploma from Mumbai in inland fisheries form a recognized board or a university.
2 Fisheries Extension Officer:- Four year graduation in Fisheries science form a recognized board or a university.
3 Opthalmic Assistant:- 10+2 in a medical or in a non medical from a recognized board or a university AND one year diploma in a ophthalmic from a recognized board or a university.
Age limit for various post:-
Minimum age for the candidate is 21 year on 1-august-2021.
Maximum age:- General – 37 year, Gen Female – 40 year, other backward category – 40 year, Sc., St. – 42 year, For physically handicapped – 10 year extension.
Selection Procedure For various post:-
Fisheries extension officer, Fisheries development officer and Opthalmic Assistant:-
1 For the marks obtained in graduation in fisheries science – 75 marks
2 experience in the relevant field to the post – 25 marks ( 5 marks for every year).

1 Valid photo identity card issued by state govt. or issued by center govt. like adhaar card, voter card, driving license etc.
2 Matric (10th) certificate from a recognized board or a university. (for the age proof)
3 +2 certificate from a recognized board or a university .
4 One year diploma certificate form a recognized board or a university.
5 4 year graduation certificate from a recognized board or a university.
6 Scanned pass-port size photo and signature.
7 Category certificate from a authorized department.
Bihar Technical Service Commission invited application for these post with online mode no other method for submission of application will be prescribed by the BTSC. Starting date for the submission of application will be from 6 April 2021 to 5 May 2021. After this date no candidate will be entertained with any mode of submission of application in any situation. Candidates can apply for these post on the website of Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) i.e. www.btsc.bih.nic.in and www.pariksh.nic.in . The payment of examination fee must be paid through debit/credit card or through e-challan generated at bank in SBI branch.
