IBPS RRB Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria And More Information
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is going organize Common Written Test (CWE) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Applicants who have eligibility to attend and appear for IBPS CWE must satisfy the below provided eligibility condition to apply for Office Assistant vacant posts.
1. Nationality: A applicant must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
2. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02-07-1987 and later than 01-07-1997 (both dates inclusive) as on 01-07-2015. Age relaxation is extended as per govt rules.

4. Qualification Required: Aspirants applying for the Office Assistant vacancies must have completed Degree in any discipline from a recognized Institution/University or its equivalent and along with Proficiency in local language.
5. Language Proficiency – The applicant applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants –(Multipurpose) in any particular RRB or RRBs are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is located to become eligible for interview, as per the notification of RRB (The condition does not apply for the posts of Officer Scale II and III).
