Punjab Police District and Armed Police Cadre Police Vacancies
This Punjab police recruitment process is proceeded to fill two kinds of vacancies with in state for District Police Cadre and Armed Police Cadre under Punjab police Act, 2007. As per the act the movement between two cadres is not applicable. While applying for these Punjab police vacancies or submitting Common Application Form (CAF) on web portal, so applicant will be needed to choose for which post they want to apply for means district/armed police cadre post or for both.
Eligibility Required For Punjab Police Recruitment 2016
- Nationality
Candidate must be Indian citizen.
2. Age
- The minimum age of applicant as on 1st January 2016 for constable post must be 18 years old for both male/female applicants. And maximum age up to of 28 year old.
- Applicants who belong to scheduled caste or backward area/class or schedule tributes must be provided 5 year relaxation in age.
- For Ex-serviceman applicant there is 3 there relaxation in age.
Note: Applicant belongs to any special category must have to upload specific certificate approved by authorized person.
Qualification Required For Police Hiring 2016
Minimum qualification needed for police recruitment process is 12th standard. Means applicant have cleared secondary level education standard. Applicant also have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as one of compulsory subject or may be elective subject or any other similar examination in Punjabi language. In case of ex-serviceman minimum qualification I matriculation.

Physical Standard – For Height
For Male Applicants: Minimum height must be 5’7’’ (5 feet 7 inches)
For Female Applicants: Minimum height must be 5’3’’ (5 feet 3 inches)
Selection Process:
Recruitment board is going to organize the recruitment process for male applicants at each range/commissionerate headquarters and zonal recruitment board will organize recruitment for female applicant at each zonal headquarters. Physical measurement test (PST) and physical screening test (PST) will be conducted in one day for applicant who apply for these posts. And whole process is taken care under video. Applicant applying for this hiring process can undergo described process as PST, PMT, and interview cum personality test.

How to Apply Online For Punjab Police Recruitment Via Filling Online CAF (Common Application Form)

- Find here recruitment option and fill your application form after filling first page a unique registration no and password will be generated, as it is generated applicant have to deposit their exam fee.
- For fee deposit there are option like credit/debit card, net banking, fee challan form.
- To submit fee manually applicant are required to visit HDFC bank with challan form.
- Then after candidates have to complete the remaining application form (page no 2-9).
- Then Roll numbers will be provided to the eligible applicants and Bar code admit card or call letter will be issued or sent to candidates registered e-mail id provided by applicant during registration process in last week of June.
