Vacancies released by CAPF under Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
Union Public Service Commission has invited the application for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Armed Forces in different departments under the advertisement number 8/2021-CPF. Starting date for filling the application is 15 April 2021 to 5 May 2021. After the last date no candidate will be entertained in any condition. The mode for the submission of application will be online.
Number of vacancies released by the CAPF by UPSC:-
The number of tenative vacancies to be filled are given below and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) hold the right to increase or decrease the vacancies according to requirement of Central Armed Forces (CAPF).

Note:- For Ex-serviceman 10% vacancies are reserved as per govt. policy. If the reserved vacancy of Ex-serviceman are remained vacant due to unavailability of applicant then these vacancies are filled by other applicant i.e. non- Ex-serviceman.
Required Educational Qualification:- The candidate must have a degree from a recognized board or a university from a state government or from a centre govt. of India.
Eligibility :-
1 The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2 Both male and female applicant are eligible for these vacancies.
Age limit:- The lower age for the assistant commandant is 20 year i.e. born after the date 1-8-1996 and the upper age for the post of assistant commandant is 25 year i.e. born before 1-8-2001.
Note:- Age relaxation will be given to the reserved candidates are given below:-

Examination Fee:- The fee for the applicant is 200 rupees. Schedule cast and Schedule tribe candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Female candidates are also need not to pay the fee.
If the candidate wants to pay the fee with cast then he has to make the payment at the counter of SBI branch and if candidate wants to pay through online then he can pay through any debit or credit card like RuPay card, Visa card, Master card or through online banking of SBI branch.
Examination center
These are the following examination center and the allotment of center will be given for first come first serve policy.

Physical Standard
The minimum physical standard for the post of Commandant Assistant give below.
1 The minimum height for the male candidates is 165 cm and for the female candidates the minimum height required is 157 cm.
2 The chest for the male candidates is 81 cm in normal condition and 86 cm in expended condition. Female candidates are exemted from this physical standard.
3 The weight for the male candidates is 50 kg and 46 kg for female candidates and moreover the height should be as per according to the height of the applicant.
Selection Procedure:-
Step 1:- (a) Written exam (objective type).
(b) Written exam (conventional type).
Step 2:- Physical efficiency test.
For male candidates:-
(a) 100 meter race in 16 second.
(b) 800 meter race in 3 minute 45 second.
(c) 3.5 meter long jump (3 chance).
(d) 4.5 meter (7.26 kg) shot put (3 chance).
For female candidates:- (a) 100 meter race in 18 second.
(b) 800 meter race in 4 minute 45 second.
(c) 3 meter long jump (3 chance).
Step 3:- Interview or personality test.

Special Instructions For UPSC Recruitment 2021
Applicant must have a valid photo identity card issued by the state govt. or by the center govt. like adhaar card, driving license, pan card, voter card. Candidates are advised to carry their photo identity card (which is uploaded at the time of submission of application) while they will appear in any stage of selection procedure. The candidate must give their active e-mail id for any intimation regarding to their selection procedure and they also checked their e-mail inbox at regular interval of time.
